| Abstract | RESUMO: No decorrer do processo de urbanização, as cidades adquiriram um grande desenvolvimento horizontal e vertical, passando a atuar como grandes modificadoras do clima local. Ao substituir os materiais naturais pelos materiais urbanos, modifica-se o balanço de energia nas cidades, ocasionando uma alteração do clima regional e criando-se condições atmosféricas específicas na área de influência da cidade. Com os dados da banda 6, correspondente à faixa do infravermelho termal (10,4 - 12,5 μm) do satélite ETM+/LANDSAT 7, pôde-se estimar a temperatura da região metropolitana de São Paulo. A análise espacial da distribuição de temperatura possibilitou avaliar a sua possível influência na ocorrência de granizos na zona leste. ABSTRACT: With the urbanization process, the cities had acquired a great horizontal and vertical development, starting to act as great local climate modifiers. By the substitution of the natural materials by the urban materials, the energys balance in the cities changes, causing an alteration of the regional climate and creating a specific atmospheric condition in the influence area of the city. With the data of band 6, correspondent to the band of the thermal infra-red (10,4 - 12,5 μm) of ETM+/LANDSAT 7, could be estimate the temperature of the São Paulo metropolitan region, allowing a space analysis of the temperature distribution and its possible influence in the hail occurrence in the east zone. . |
